Husband and I came home from an impromptu Starbucks date (I know, it isn't proper coffee, but that was our only choice) this evening and found a box on the doorstep. I gasped and spilled at least a quarter of my tall triple shot latte over my hand as I toddled toward the box like Boo from Monsters, Inc.
"BOOOOOOOOOKSSSS!!! MY BOOKS ARE HERE!!"
And then I almost tripped going up two flights of stairs getting into our flat. More spillage of coffee occurred and I didn't even bother to find scissors. No. I ripped open the box like there was a time bomb inside that I needed to disarm. Except there wasn't a time bomb inside that I needed to disarm. Ten copies of Walden the Prequel in paperback, compliments of my publisher, were inside. They look amazing in person. This is the favourite jacket and cover design out of the six novels and two novellas I've written. I would definitely pick it up if I saw it sitting on a shelf.
In other news
I also received paperback review copies of Gap Year, and Waldorf Manor books two (The Shortlist), three (The Courting) and four (The Glass House)! That means soon you can have the entire Waldorf Manor series in paperback if you want to hold them in your hands. Most of the WM books have been available on kindle since 2013-2015, so this is big milestone and encouragement for me. Ignore the typo on the spine of Unfailing Love, that was a very old review copy and was corrected a year ago.
Look out for the official announcement that all of the current books in the WM series are available in paperback, as well as the Walden School series.
