Bella Bryce's latest blog posts
For those of you who like your Saturday morning tea/coffee/chai/orange juice/pancakes/yawn with a story involving a bit of firm but well-deserved discipline, this is the blog hop for you!
This is #SatSpanks. The authors who participate are only allowed to post eight lines (and mine is eight lines in size 10 font in a Word document, Headmistress Blake) from one of their works.
this excerpt is from my third book in the Waldorf Manor series
and will be released within the next week (or so).
"I didn’t think it was possible for you to joke about a spanking,” she teased.
Bennett raised an eyebrow, then parted his knees and pulled her closer to him.
“I never joke about spanking,” he replied. “There is a difference between enjoying an innocent and lightly delivered reminder, and sobbing your way through the one I will give you for stepping out of line. I don’t have to remind you what that is like.”
“No, Sir,” Elisabeth replied. She slipped her hands out of his and then slid them gently around his neck and planted herself to sit across his knees. “Please don’t go.”
Bennett put his arms around Elisabeth to secure her balance and kissed her lips gently.
“I’ll be back first thing in the morning,” he replied, quietly, before kissing her again. Bennett rested his forehead against hers. “Be a good girl and get into your nightdress for me, I’ll tuck you up before I leave.”
